Since October 2024, FJCAS has sponsored 498 spays and neuters of dogs and cats in Jackson County.
Every month, FJCAS distributes 600-800 lbs of free dog and cat food to pet owners in our community who face financial challenges. In some cases, we deliver food directly to pet owners who are without transportation.
As of October 2025, FJCAS has acquired 58 acres of land in Jackson County. This land will eventually become home to a physical shelter. Our plan is to start with a dog shelter as Phase 1, expand to a cat shelter in Phase 2, and continue in phases until we have a clinic, training facilities and more.
Now that we have secured our land, we are currently working to raise funds for the building costs. Please stay tuned to our Website and Facebook page for frequent updates as things move along. As we work to raise the funds to build a physical shelter, fostering is our best option for providing abandoned pets with safe temporary homes while they wait for adoption.
