🐾 Animal Care & Foster Support

Animal Foster Parent

Tasks: Provide daily care, love, and basic training while we search for a permanent home.
Time: Several hours a day.

Foster Support Volunteer

Tasks: Recruit fosters, help onboard new foster families, provide ongoing support.
Time: Several hours a week.

Adoption Support

Tasks: Assist with adoption coordination, communication, and follow‑up.

Time: Varies.

🐶 Pet Food & Community Assistance

Tasks: Sorting, organizing, loading, shopping for deals, record keeping, eligibility checks.
Time: 2–3 hours once or twice a month.

Doghouse Donation Coordination

Tasks: Pick up donated doghouses, clean them, deliver to families in need.
Time: A few hours a month; more during cold weather.

📣 Communications & Promotion

Social Media Support

Tasks: Create high‑quality posts, collaborate with team members, monitor relevant content.
Time: A couple hours a day.

Photographer / Videographer

Tasks: Capture and edit photos/videos of adoptable animals.
Time: A couple hours a week.

Volunteer Support

Tasks: Recruit, onboard, and assist volunteers; arrange snacks/drinks for events.
Time: Several hours a week.

🎉 Events & Fundraising

Yard Sale Team

Tasks: Collecting, sorting, online auctions, sale‑day help, post‑sale cleanup.
Time: Up to a few half‑days per week leading up to the sale; full day for the event.

Fundraising Event Support

Tasks: Help with Easter Egg Hunt, Basketball Tournament, Poker Run, Pancake Breakfast.
Time: One‑day events with some prep and cleanup.

Fundraising Appreciation

Tasks: Write thank‑you messages, brainstorm donor appreciation ideas.
Time: Several hours a week.

🚗 Transport & Rescue Support

Pet Transport
Tasks: Drive pets to vet appointments or rescue partners.
Time: Varies; currently infrequent.

Breed‑Specific Rescue Liaison

Tasks: Build relationships with breed rescues, coordinate transfers.
Time: Several hours a week.

🌿 Outdoor & Facilities Support

Landscaping

Tasks: Mowing, outdoor cleanup on shelter campus.
Time: Seasonal; varies.

Construction

Tasks: Assist with all phases of future shelter construction.
Time: Varies.

Handyman

Tasks: Help maintain shelter buildings.
Time: Varies.

Bush Hogging

Tasks: Mow property, maintain roads and trails.
Time: About a half‑day per month.
